ASHRAE CALL FOR PAPERS
1. Seminar
Integration in Cleanroom Design
ASHRAE 2002 Winter Meeting
Atlantic City, NJ, USA, January 12-16, 2002
Moving forward into the 21st century, industrial
cleanroom facilities integration has moved to the
forefront of cleanroom design. Larger sized products
require larger processing equipment. Cleanroom
structures are now cleverly integrated into the
process and mechanical systems to reduce overall
building height and construction cost, and also help
to shorten construction duration. This seminar is
intended to discuss design integration of buildings
and facilities among all disciplines from project
conception to final completion and handover.
All five abstracts have been received. The program
has been confirmed for Atlantic City Meeting.
Additional papers will be included in the following
seminar for Honolulu in June 2002.
2. Seminar
Integrated Cleanroom Design And Construction
ASHRAE 2002 Annual Meeting
Honolulu, HI, USA, June 22-26, 2002
Integrated cleanroom design and construction shall
address the design integration of cleanroom buildings
and facilities among all design disciplines and
construction industries from project conception to
final start up, commissioning and handover. The goal
of integration is to optimize the total cleanroom
buildings and facilities to achieve better quality,
faster delivery, lower project cost, shorter
construction duration, beneficial to operating and
maintenance, reduce energy consumption, cleaner
environment, safer, more reliable and more productive
conditions and longer service life.
The ASHRAE dateline for receiving abstract(s) is
January 5, 2002 for sponsoring technical committee
review during ASHRAE Winter Meeting. Please send your
abstract(s) to Seminar Chairman Charlie C. Shieh by
email, fax or mail no later than December 24, 2001.
Both programs shall be sponsored by TC4.12 Integrated
Building Design Committee, with the co-sponsorship of
TC9.11 Clean Space Committee.
